its indirectly that why its called representative
let my school review their answers properly to avoid further misconception

looking at d question again one can agree it is directly since citizens come out to vote directly (exercise their franchise)

that is why representative democracy is also known as indirect democracy

they exercise the political power indirectly, unless you are talking about voting then that will be directly, so its technically a mixture depending on the aspect of government

what is political power in the first place, is political power the same thing as voting power? the mixup here is unspeakable
