The answer is c.when a legislature performs
Adhoc function,it simply means that they are made inorder to achieve a specific purposd.when there aim is achieved, they wil dissolve the commitee, although in some cases

To all C is not the answer to the question. The day-by-day activities of legislature ar carry out by the committee, of which we have two types of committee. Namely; standing committee and adhoc committee. Standing committee ar parmanent and perform statutory function, while adhoc committee ar not parmanent but set up to investigate on special matters and after settle the matter dere is no need for the again.

So which one is the right answer now?
because you guys has been delibrating on this for years yet giving different answers...

this answer you guys are giving is even confusing sef,how about those that don't know it at all.please give a clarified answer jare

The answer is B. that has statutory responsibilities
Standing committees are permanent legislative groups that meet regularly to work on a specific subject of policy. They are assigned certain duties and powers by law, which are known as statutory responsibilities. These responsibilities typically include considering proposed legislation, holding hearings, and reporting recommendations to the full legislature.
Here's why the other options are incorrect:
A. Whose members stand while deliberating: This is not a defining characteristic of standing committees. Legislatures have rules about how debates are conducted, and these rules may specify whether members must sit or stand when speaking.
C. That perform ad hoc functions: Ad hoc committees are temporary committees created to address a specific issue. Standing committees, on the other hand, are permanent and have ongoing responsibilities.
D. That has legislators as members: While this is true, it's not the most specific or informative answer. All committees in a legislature are going to have legislators as members.

To clear the air, the answer is B. Adhoc committee are set up just for necessary or adhoc as the word implies functions and are disbanded after fulfilling their task but Standing committee are continuous and are set up for statutory responsibilities which means they are always there to provide government functions

the correct answer there is B
Because standing committee has
statutory responsibilities, unlike adhoc that has functions and vanished once they achieve their goals.

Sure, d correct ansa is C, standin committee r set up inoder 2 perform and carry out adhoc tasks inoder to achieve deir aims and objective without being biased.

C coz they were/are setup 2 luk into a particular issue and as soon as such issue is solved dey wil be desolved

Ad hoc means for a purpose. A standing committee according to Google has statutory responsibilities and are not easily discarded like an ad hoc committee. It should be B.

We need to get it correct, the answer to the question is option B. The explanation provided by Sunnyaquostic explains it all
