The answer is wrong. It is supposed to be option a not option c. The function of a political party is not to educate the government but to educate the electorate but aggregation of opinion is the responsibility of a political party. So therefore the answer is option a which is educating the government and not option c because educating the electorate and not the government is the responsibility of political parties. Please correct.

the correct answer is A The primary role of a political party is to educate the electorate (the voters), not the government itself. Political parties serve as intermediaries between the public and the state. While they provide information to their members and the general public to gain support, the government (as an institution) is not the target of this educational function.
