The Security Council: This is the most powerful organ of the UNO. Initially, it was made up of 5 permanent and 6 non-permanent members, in 1965 it was extended to 10 non-permanent member. The permanent members are USA, Britain, France, Russia and China. The 10 non- permanent members are elected to serve a term of two years from among the member states.
Read about the security council from any government text book including Essential Government which describes the security council as "the most powerful of all the organs making up the UNO". Pg 371.
you guys are wrong,the general assembly has the highest rank because it consist the representatives of member States. And that's the majority!
