The Original Should Be B
The Riots Led By The Aba Women In The Provinces Of Calabar And Owerri In Dec 1929 Was Due To The Fact That Lord Lugard Instituted The System Of Indirect Rule Using The Warrant Chiefs To Govern The People Indirectly.
But Unfortunately, The Warrant Chiefs Oppressed The People And Were In Support Of Imposing Direct Taxation.
Although, The People (especially the women) Were Not Comfortable With The Situation But What Made The Women Rouse A Riot Was The Fact That The Oppresive Warrant Chiefs Were In Support Of Direct Taxation (Which The Women Knew Would Greatly Affect Their Market).
Therefore, The Aba Women Riot In 1929 Was Originally In Protest To The Direct Taxation.

a man named oluko from opobo looked and said the women in the eastern region were much and said the best way to increase there wealth as warrant chief was to impose tax to the woman of the east, when they where counting the women one by one ,the women realised and said to themselves that what this people are trying to do hope is not what am thinking that they want to impose tax on us ,then they all collide together and made a riot been naked and the reason for them doing this riot was the fear of direct taxation by the warrant chiefs ,which this system of government can be called kpletocracy, rule by the thieves because the warrant chiefs, with due respect to them they where warrant thieves not chiefs,so the answer to this question is DIRECT TAXES

There's no answer to diz question.... It was caused cause of the fear that women would soon begin to pay taxes.
