This answer is incorrect. Power is based on the use of force or coercion which makes it practice illegitimate. Hence, physical power which is a type of power is also called naked power i.e power based on individual physical abilities. Therefore, the difference between power and authority is legitimacy because authority is the legitimate claim to exercise power. If legitimacy is removed from authority, the power becomes naked. political power on the other hand is the power exercise by the virtue of authority ( legitimacy). in conclusion, the answer to this question is option C

Myschool please review this, the answer should be C and the reason for that was clearly stated by Aidyyy and OLATUNBOSUN_TP

Change this. The answer is govt legitimacy. Check out the meaning of naked force

Political power is considered naked force when it is exercised without governmental legitimacy. This means that if power is used without the consent or acceptance of the governed, it is seen as coercive and lacking moral authority. Governmental legitimacy is essential for political power to be viewed as rightful and justified, rather than merely forceful or oppressive.
The answer is C. governmental legitimacy
