Although your answer is part of the reasons, but it is not the first major reason that triggered indirect rule system...... Lack of Colonial Administrators to oversee our vast landmass led to the use of Native traditional rulers.

Indigenous Nigerians weren't made warrant chiefs and used because the system was already organized, rather because whites were few to rule our vast land

The correct answer is B.
Indirect rule was introduced in Nigeria by the British colonial authorities because they lacked sufficient personnel to administer the country directly. The British had limited resources and personnel, and they needed a system that would allow them to govern the country efficiently.
Lord Lugard, the British colonial administrator, introduced the system of indirect rule in Nigeria in the early 20th century. Under this system, the British colonial authorities ruled through the existing traditional institutions and rulers, rather than directly administering the country themselves.
This system allowed the British to maintain control over the country while minimizing the need for British administrators. It also helped to preserve the existing social and cultural structures of the Nigerian societies.
