membership of a "political party" is VOLUNTORY,...You can join if you like and not if you don't like,....nothing affects you if you don't join a party and no1 will accuse you of it cause it is voluntory but membership of a society is MANDATORY,...Answer is C,.....No 'one' man can live on his own or inhabit the face of the earth(or society),he needs to come together with other people to form a society,....therefore membership of a society is Mandatory
Membership of a society is mandatory,...Man "according to thomas hobbes" is in continual fear and danger of voilent death and so must submit to a political authority(A state) which will protect him and provide for all his needs!!.Another quote of this great philosopher is that Man can not live in ISOLATION and so needs to submit to a political authority(A society),interact with other member of his society to live fine,..No man can live in Isolation and so the membership of a society is mandatory
