The correct answer as i have stated above is D. The provision that empower the State House Of Assembly to create a Local Government is enshrined in SECTION 8 sub-section 3 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Infact you people are complicating issues. In the nigeria constitution it's the state house of assembly that is to create local Government not National Assembly please

D is not correct, because state houses of Assembly is the highest legislative body at the state level. The powers to create Local governments does not vested in the hands of the state houses of Assembly.But in d National Assembly.. ..so, B is d correct answer...

it is national assembly ,according to local government defination it is set up by an act of parliament ,if it is state why is it that the local govtcreated in osun state is nt added to 774 local govt , the answer giving is absolutely correct
