@Niyi_John2013.Of course there was a president.Nnamdi Azikiwe was then the president,who acts as a head of state while the prime minister acts a the head of government
Notin called president in parliamentary systerm of government which took place in Nigeria between 1960 _ 1966 as a result of 1957 London conference so my school I did nt know where u see president as head of government by that time my school pls correct the answer so that other will nt be confused or If I a wrong any friend to correct me
