(a) Economic grouping is defined as the coming together of different countries with a view of promoting economic
cooperation among its members. Internal and International grouping exist in order to promote socio-economic cultural
development.
(bi) - To provide water for rural and urban area
- To ensure economic co-operation and developing among its members
- To fooster relationship among members
(bii)- To foster closer relations among member countries
- To contibute to the industrial development of West Africa
- To promote economic co-operation and development in the fields of industry, agriculture, science etc
