(b) Comparison of specimens K and L Similarities:
- Both have fleshy edible mesocarp or succulent.
- Both have thin epicarp.
- Both have seed(s).
Differences:
- Specimen K has many seeds while L has one seed.
- Specimen K has mesocarp and endocarp that are fused to form soft pulp which is edible, while specimen L has a hard endocarp.
- endocoarp of specimen K is edible while that of specimen L is not edible.
