a) Collective name for specimens D, E and F are Farm tools or garden tools/ agricultural tools.
(b) Characteristic features or Descriptive features of Specimens;
- Specimen D: shares an enlarged pair of scissors or scissors-like, possesses two long metal blades, handles may be wood or metal or rubber or plastic, the blades are sharpened at one edge, blades are connected at the pivot by bolt and nut.
- Specimen E: secateurs: scissors-like but small in size, consists of two short metal blades (one with a concave curve and the other with a convex curve), joined at a pivot, possesses two short-wooden handles or metal handles, usually has a spring between the handles.
- Specimen F - pruning saw: consists of a long flat metal blade, possesses Wooden handles or metal handles, both edges of the metal blade are serrated for cutting woods.
(c) Specimen E is Used for pruning shrubs and woody ornamental plants.
