To be blunt and direct: No. You cannot study Psychology at any accredited Nigerian university with an F9 in Mathematics.
​Here is the breakdown of why this is a "no" on two different levels:
​1. The O'Level "No-Go" (The Biggest Problem)
​Psychology is a social science that relies heavily on statistics and research. Because of this, Mathematics is a compulsory credit requirement for almost every university in Nigeria.
​The Rule: You must have at least a C6 in Mathematics in your WAEC or NECO.
​The Consequence: Even if you scored 300 in JAMB, an F9 in Maths makes you ineligible for admission into Psychology. You will fail the "O'Level Screening" at the point of entry.
