For LASUED as tagged in your question;
No, your chances for Nursing at LASUED with a 220 are extremely low, primarily because Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) does not currently offer a Nursing Science degree.
LASUED was recently transitioned from a College of Education to a University. While they offer 67 programs, they focus heavily on Education, Science, and Humanities.
The Reality: Nursing Science is not currently on their list of accredited programs. They offer related courses like Health Education or Biology Education, but these are not professional Nursing degrees.
Confusing LASUED with LASU?
Many students confuse LASUED (Oto-Ijanikin/Epe) with LASU (Ojo).
If you meant LASU: They do have Nursing, but it is one of their most competitive courses.
The Cut-off for LASU Nursing: While the eligibility mark is 190, the actual competitive merit score is usually 250+. With 220, you would be far below the merit list for Nursing at LASU, especially as a non-indigene.
3. What you can do with 220
A JAMB score of 220 is actually quite good for many other courses. If you are determined to stay in Lagos or study Nursing, here are your best paths:
LASU (Other Health Sciences): With 220, you might be able to get into Physiology or Anatomy if your O'Level results are exceptional (mostly A1s).
