Today's JAMB mock honestly felt different from a normal exam day. I woke up very early because I didn’t want stories that touch. Even while getting ready, my mind was just racing — “hope I no go forget anything?”, “hope the place no far pass wetin I think?”. When I got to the CBT centre, I saw plenty students already there. Everybody just dey form calm, but you could tell say tension full ground.

At the entrance, they checked our details and directed us to wait. That waiting period? Omo, na there anxiety peak pass. Some people were revising last minute, others were just pressing phone to distract themselves. Me, I just dey look around and try calm down small.

When they finally called us in, we were arranged seat by seat. The computer systems were already on, and the invigilators gave us instructions on how to use everything. Lowkey, some people still confused, especially those wey never really practice CBT well. I even hear one guy whisper “na which button be next again?” — I just smiled because I could relate small.

As the exam started, the timer began counting down immediately. That thing alone fit pressure person. At first, I was nervous, my heart was beating fast, but after answering like 5–10 questions, I started getting into the flow. The questions were not too hard, but they were tricky in some places. If you no sharp, you go waste time.

Time management was the real issue. You go think say you still get time, next thing, time don almost go. I had to start skipping questions and coming back later. Using the mouse for everything also slowed me down a bit, especially for calculations in maths — I just dey wish for paper and pen like normal exam.
There were small distractions too. One system for my side froze briefly, and the girl there almost panic, but they fixed it. The room sha was mostly quiet, just the sound of clicking and occasional whispers.

When I finally submitted, chai, the relief was real. I just leaned back like “thank God”. Walking out, everybody started discussing answers — you go hear “I put B for that one o” and another person go shout “ahh I put C!”. That one sef fit shake your confidence if you no careful.
Overall, the mock experience really opened my eyes. It showed me say preparation no be only reading — you gats practice speed and CBT style well. No be small experience, but e really help.

As for the topic that came out in each subjects..

Omo, the questions wey came out for the mock no just be random at all — you could clearly see say dem follow the JAMB syllabus well well. If you don dey read your syllabus, you go even smile for some questions like “ahh I sabi this one”.
For Mathematics, na mostly algebra carry first. There were plenty questions on quadratic equations, solving simultaneous equations, and even some indices and logarithms. I also saw questions from statistics — like mean and median — very direct but you gats calculate fast. Trigonometry also show, especially sine and cosine, nothing too deep but if you no understand basics, e fit confuse you. There was even a simple differentiation question, just to test if you know your formula. Overall, maths no too hard, but speed na the main thing.

For English, chai, this one na normal JAMB style. Comprehension passages full ground. The passages were not too long, but the questions required you to really understand what you read. Lexis and structure also plenty — fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms. Some questions were tricky like two options go look correct, but na only one make sense well. Oral English sef come out small, like stress and vowel sounds. If you never practice past questions, you go see shege small.

Physics was more of calculation and understanding. Mechanics came out well — questions on motion, speed, and acceleration. I also saw questions from electricity, like simple applications of formulas. Waves showed up too, but just basic concepts. Nothing too crazy, but if you forget formula, na problem be that.
Chemistry focused more on theory and small calculations. Atomic structure and periodic table were very common. There were questions on electron arrangement and properties of elements. Chemical bonding also appeared — ionic and covalent bonding. I also saw mole concept questions, simple calculations but you gats be careful with units. A few reaction-based questions came out too.

Honestly, the whole exam just showed say if you follow JAMB syllabus and practice past questions, you go dey safe. No be say dem bring anything from outside, but dem go twist it small to check if you really understand. Na there many people begin realize say reading alone no enough — you gats understand wetin you dey read.
