Chemistry Practical. Standardize the known acid using Phenolphthalein indicator and sodium hydroxide.
Procedure: Add about 10ml of Acid into two conical different flasks marked flask A and B. Into flask A, add about 2 to 3 drops of Phenolphthalein indicator. Add 4 to 5 drops of the same indicator into flask B and migrate the both flask using 0.5 molar sodium hydroxide.
Question:
1. Note the end point.
2. Record the title value.
3. Calculate the molarity of the acid.
4. Does the volume of indicator affect the end point.
