At Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun (FUHSI), admission is based on an aggregate score (JAMB + Post-UTME).
How FUHSI usually calculates aggregate
Most federal universities (including FUHSI) use:
JAMB score ÷ 8
Post-UTME score ÷ 2
Then add both together.
Example:
If you scored 280 in JAMB
280 ÷ 8 = 35
If you scored 70 in Post-UTME
70 ÷ 2 = 35
Aggregate = 35 + 35 = 70%
What Aggregate is Needed?
It depends on the course, because FUHSI mainly offers health courses like:
Medicine and Surgery (very competitive)
Nursing
Medical Laboratory Science
Physiotherapy
Public Health
General guide:
Medicine: 70% – 80%+
Nursing/MLS/Physiotherapy: 65% – 75%
Other health courses: 55% – 65%
