MDCN accreditation is only for Medicine (MBBS) schools.
Yes, a school must be accredited by MDCN to train doctors.
Universities offering Medicine & Surgery need MDCN approval.
Polytechnics are NOT accredited by MDCN because they do not train doctors.
In short:
Only medical schools (universities) are accredited by MDCN.
Polytechnics are not.
