pls can anyone give a valid update on Buk admission also is there any group for aspirants, other than Jamb is there any other means to check admission status?

The Bayero University Kano (BUK) 2025/2026 admission lists are currently being released in batches on both the university's portal and the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). Candidates who applied should monitor both portals for updates.
Key Updates
Admission Lists: BUK has started releasing admission lists for the 2025/2026 academic session. The release is done in phases (first batch, second batch, etc.) by faculties and departments, so not all candidates will see their status change at the same time.
O'Level Results Upload: It is a critical requirement that your O'Level results (WAEC, NECO, etc.) are correctly uploaded on the JAMB e-Facility portal. Failure to do so will delay or prevent your admission from being processed.
JAMB CAPS: Monitoring your admission status on JAMB CAPS is mandatory. If you are offered admission on CAPS, you must accept or reject the offer to proceed with the university's registration process.
Change of Institution: The portal for candidates intending to change their first choice to BUK was open until November 10, 2025.
Postgraduate Admissions: The postgraduate admission list for the 2024/2025 session has also been released, and admitted candidates can log into the portal to accept the offer and pay the acceptance fee.

You can check your admission status on the BUK portal by following these steps:
Visit the BUK screening portal at https://mybuk2.buk.edu.ng/myScreening/.
Login using your JAMB Registration Number, State of Origin, and Gender.
View your admission status. If admitted, you can download your BUK Admission Letter and other required forms.
