Photosynthesis is the ability of Green plants to manufacture their food using carbondioxide, water and sunlight... it involves light energy being converted to chemical energy, in the sense that light energy from the sun converts carbondioxide and water into Glucose and oxygen..... this is made possible as leaves receives sunlight, the roots draws water and then from the plastids(chloroplast) chlorophyll is used in creating glucose(food) ......

Autotrophic is a nutrition where autotrophs maunufacture their food through the process of photosynthesis...

Heterotrophic is a nutrition where animals depends on primary consumers for food, since they cannot manufacture their own food
