In an experiment to verify Ohm's law given by the equation V = IR where V is applied potential difference, I is the current and R is the resistance, the following observations were recorded:
V(Volts): 30.5, 40.0, 50.1, 59.5, 70.3, 80.0, 90.0
I(A): 0.49,0.90, 1.57, 1.57, 1.57, 1.80, 2.00
a) which is the dependent variable and which is the independent variable
b) From the point of observations, draw the 'best fit' line
C) find the slope and from it deduce the resistance of the specimen?
