The force E needed to make a machine pull a load is partially constant and partially varies as the load to be pulled itself.when the load is 20g,the force needed is 14N, whereas the force needed for 30g load is 2N. find the law connecting the load and the force?

(a) E= k, E & L
E= K+nL(where k and n are constants)
1.4 = k+20n.........(i)
2= k+30n...........(ii)
Equ (ii) - (i)
2 - 1.4= k-k + 30n-20n
0.6= 10n
D.B.S.B 10
0.6/10 = 10n/10
n = 0.6/10
n = 6/10/10
n= 6/10*1/10
n=3/50
put n= 3/50 in Equ (i)
1.4 = k + 20*3/50
1.4= k + 4*3/10
1.4= k+ 2*3/5
1.4= k + 6/5
k = 1.4 - 6/5
k= 1.4 - 1.2
k= 0.2 or 1/5
(b) when L=50g
E= k + nL
E=1/5 + 3/50*50
E=1/5 +3
E=0.2+3
E= 3.2N
