Given 2+4+6……+72
= 72/2
= 36
=2(1+2+3+…….+36)
Sum of n natural numbers is n(n+1)/2.
Soo,2(1+2+3…+36)
=2(36(36+1))/2
=2 ( 36 × 37 ) ÷ 2
= (72 × 37) ÷ 2
= 2664 / 2
=1332
Hence,sum of given series is 1332
