The Federal University of Technology, Owerri invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for considerations for admission into her restructured six years intensive Weekend Programmes leading to the award of Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) degree.

GENERAL UNIVERSITY ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The following Admission Requirements apply uniformly in addition to the specified School/Departmental Requirements.

Candidates must possess the University matriculation requirement of five (5) O’ Level credit passes including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings in WASC, WASSCE, GCE, NECO or NABTEB.

Candidates must have a minimum score of 180 in the Joint Admission Matriculations Board (JAMB) Examinations.

In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Information And Communication Technology under the Faculty of Engineering, Environment & Technology in the above Universities include;

Mathematics, Economics, and any one of Account, Commerce, and Government.
