The answer is 23 . log27(9) can be interpreted as " 27 to what power is equal to 9 . Since 2723=32=9,log27(9)=23 .

Log(27)/Log(3)
Re write log (27) as log(3³)
Log (3³)/log (3)
Expand log (3³) by moving 3 outside the logarithm .
=3log(3)/log (3)
=3.
While
Log 9
=log (9/3)
Divide 9 by 3
=log 3
Decimal form
0.4771225...
=0.5
