The sum of the interior angles is (2n-4) right angles
where n=5
(y+13) + (y+5) + (y+23)(y+29) + (y+40)=(2*5-4)
5y+110degree=6 right angles

where right angle=90degree

5y+110degree=6*90
5y+110degree=540degree
5y=540degree-110degree
5y=430degree
make y the subject of the formula
y=430/5

13+q+5+q+q+23+q+29+q+40=540

5q+110=540
5q=540-110=430
q=430/5=86
