Tangent= 2.4
Ø= tan^-1(2.4)= 67.3801° (6 s.f.)

The horizontal distance between the foot of the ladder and the wall= 50cm

With respect to the vertical wall and horizontal ground, the slamt height of the ladder is:

slant height= (horizontal ground)/cos Ø
= 50/cos 67.3801°
= 50/0.3846 (4 s.f.)
= 129.9999(4 s.f.)
= 130cm approximately.
