No, you are not allow to sit of jamb and direct entry thesame year. But you can sit for jamb and later upgrade it to direct entry.

A person is allowed to sit for UTME and De at the same time, the fact that you are applying with a different qualification!!! May be DE WITH YOUR DIPLOMA OR NCE and UTME with SSCE
