The person still stand a good chance of admission to study the course, provided he/she perform well in their postutme screening exam.
Mass communication is highly competitive due to the high number of applicants for the course.
If the person is also an indigene of the state, it would be an advantage for him/she.

your chaces it 65% okay. but you must do your best in the postume to increased your chances. There is no fixed admission cut off point in any subject. The cut-off point for admission changes from different programme to programme, it did not end there, as the cutoff mark is likely to change again, depending upon the overall performance of the candidates in both JAMB and Post UTME examination.

If most candidates looking for admission into Imsu had a score of 2oo + in UTME examination, the school is likely to set her cut off mark to 200 for most courses, vice-versa. It won’t be publicly announced, but candidates with 200+ UTME score will be given admission.

You should also be informed, that these are calculated (on average) and determined by the University before the release of the First(merit admission list).

The higher you score in their post utme exam the higher you stand a better chance for securing your admission.
Also if the person is an indigene of the state, that would be a good advantage for him/she to gain admission.
