With a score of 277 , can I be given medicine in UNN and what is the last year cut off mark of medicine and surgery . And how are they calculating their aggregate.?

Yes, you stand a chance of admission to study medicine and surgery with that jamb score, but you also need to perform very well in their postutme screening exam to stand a better chance of admission,if you are from their catchment area it would be an advantage.
Last year their departmental cut-off mark for medicine and surgery was 327.
Here is how their aggregate is being calculated.
The aggrgate score is JAMB Score 60% while POST UTME Score 40%. Now lets calculate your aggregate score;
1. Multiply your JAMB Score by 0.6, keep the answer one place.
2. Also multiply your POST-UTME Score by 0.4.
3. Now add up what you got.
E.g let’s say your jamb score is 302 and your post utme score is 307. Then we will have (302*0.6) + (307*0.4) = Aggregate score = 304.

Please note that if your aggregate score is a decimal number (e.g 203.6) it will be rounded up to a whole number (e.g 204).
