Going by their last year examination, post utme was conducted for all students who had 180 and above in their jamb
However since that of 2019 is not yet released, we can infer from that of last year
Lots of students who make Uniuyo their most
preferred institution have been asking to
know how the University of Uyo, Uniuyo will
conduct 2019 admission.
So how will Uniuyo conduct 2019 Admission
Right now, I can’t tell exactly how the
admission conducts for 2019/2020 will be
like. But I strongly believed that they will still
follow the same procedures of last year.
Just so you know, below is how last year
2018 Uniuyo screening was carried out.
First, the screening form was out towards the
ending of July.
Candidates who choose Uniuyo as their first
choice institution were informed to register
for the screening exercise online.
Also, a date was set for the first screening, in
which candidates who had registered for the
screening exercise were called to bring along
with them the following documents;
The Uniuyo online application form
printed out in colour.
O’Level Results
Certificate of Origin
After which the data that was collected was
used to bring out the merit list and those
whose names were shortlisted were called for
a final screening.
Later on, the supplementary form was out
and candidates who couldn’t make it to the
merit lists were informed to register for the
supplementary. And that’s how it goes…
Was there any aptitude test?
No, recalled that JAMB scrapped out Post
UTME Test last year and so there was
nothing like written or oral test. All that was
required of the applicants was for him/her to
register for the screening exercise and
proceeds to the screening ground to submits
his/her credentials.
I think the most controversial questions have
received from aspirants of the University of
Uyo, Uniuyo in the Uniuyo Whatsapp group for
aspirants is about Uniuyo cut off marks for a
particular course/department. Questions like;
What is Uniuyo Cut off Mark for medicine?
What is Uniuyo Cut off Mark for Pharmacy?
What is Uniuyo Cut off Mark for Law?
What is Uniuyo Cut off Mark for Business
What is Uniuyo Cut off Mark for Microbiology?
I scored 220 in My JAMB will I be offered
admission to study English in Uniuyo?
I have 5A’s and 4B’s in my WAEC RESULT
and I scored 250 in my JAMB will I be given
admission to study LAW in Uniuyo?
To be very sincere with you; The University of
Uyo, Uniuyo does not disclose a fixed cut off
mark that they used to offered candidates
admission to a particular course/department.
Just know that as far as you have scored 180
and above, you may be admitted into your
preferred choice of course or into any other
course by supplementary.
Forget about the figures you see everywhere
online as Uniuyo Cut off Mark for a particular
department/course. They are all formulated
figures, yes I mean it.
The only thing is that you have to try as
much as possible to score very high in your
JAMB UTME RESULT in order for your name
to be included in the merit lists or to stand a
better chance of being admitted.

uniuyo Aggregate score is now a combination of student JAMB UTME score & O’ level combinations (waec, neco, waec gce, neco gce, nabteb). The sharing ratio is 60:40. Jamb Utme score is 60% while your five o; level subject combos will make up the remaining 40% marks.
