*sheds means throwing away of something that has become useless or superfluous though often not intrinsically valueless.
* vilified means to say or write unpleasant things about someone or something, in order to cause other people to have a bad opinion of them: He was vilified by the press as a monster.
*unstrinting means being extremely generous with time, money, praise, help, etc.: unstinting support/generosity. She was quite unstinting in her praise.
