Q = mcT
Q = Quantity of heat(80J)
m = Mass of body 40g(0.04kg)
c = Specific heat capacity(400Jkg)
T = change in temperature.
- Therefore;
80 = 0.04 x 400 x T
- Change in temperature;
T = 80/0.04 x 400
T = 80/16
- Therefore change in temperature T = 5 degree celcius or 278 kelvin
