(d) WOULD

Reason: in d sentence,we av if i "were"=past tense of am.

Since the the first phrase is in past tense, definately the phrase to follow it will be past tense.

Vice-versa i.e if i "am" in sweden,i "will" be happy. Understand please?
  • Olaex: aside the tenses.. "Were" is use in a state of impossibility or rather in an imaginative instance ... For example; If I were a girl.. I am a boy but hoping I were rather a girl but certainly, it can only exist in the mind or thoughts because I can never be a girl because I am a boy. Similar is the case of "If I were in sweden", this simply mean, I'm not in sweden and as such I am imagining I were in sweden which automatically affects my thinking because of its literal impossibility term, the resultant will also be "doubtful".. Hence, "would". I can only be sure of my Happiness in sweden if I am in sweden but if I keep hoping without really in sweden at the time of saying it, then, my conjecture is as doubtful as my feelings..
