Put the whole sample C in a boiling test tube and add 15 ml of distilled warm water for few minutes and filter the resulting solution. Add the filtrate, add 5 ml or a few drops of iodine solution to the residue and add excess dilute hydrochloric acid. Divide the resulting solution into three portions. To the first portion, add a few drops of NAOH until it is in excess. To the 2nd portion add few drops of aqueous ammonia until it is in excess.
