The first person described as a hunter in the Bible is Nimrod.

In the Book of Genesis, he is introduced as a descendant of Ham and the son of Cush. The Bible describes him with a specific title:
"He was a mighty hunter before the Lord; wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord." (Genesis 10:9, KJV).
