I am a firm believer that JAMB English is not correctly marked or there is a problem with the system. Why do top scorers have poor scores in English and why is it always in the 60s range and almost never higher or lower. I know there are outliers and some who get into the 70s range and I've seen an 80 but for the vast majority, it's usually 60s. I got a 68 with my other subjects being at 90,91,90. I have always excelled in any English proficiency test provided to me and it comes as a shock to me. Is there anyone else with this problem?
