Taiwo plan to buy notebooks and exercise books in a bookshop. He needs to buy at least one of each type but his bag cannot carry more than 8 books.
If X is the number of notebooks and Y is the number of exercise books he buys, write down three inequalities for the above conditions.
Draw the graphs of the above conditions and label the region that satisfies them as R.
If the book shop makes a profit of 5 naira on each notebook and 7 naira on each exercise book, how many of each type must taiwo buy for the book shop to make a maximum profit?
