a tube of uniform cross-section closed at one end ,contains some dry air which is sealed box a thread of Mercury 15.5cm long.when the tube is held vertically with the closed end of the bottom of the air column is 22.08 long,but when it is held horizontally the air column is 26.4cm long.calculate the atmospheric pressure.?
