pls explain the step by step procedure in registering for JAMB?

1. Create A Valid Email
This is the first and basic step you need to kick start Jamb 2021/2022 registration. In a lay man’s word, email is the address you can use to get messages online.

2. Get your NIN (National Identification Number)
Go to any NIMC office or NIN registration centres nearest to you to get your nation identification number which will be needed for creation of your JAMB profile.

3. Get your Profile Code
The JAMB profile code is usually a 10-digits numbers assign to a candidate and it is another important step needed to be taken while registering for JAMB 2021/2022.

To get your JAMB profile code, send your NIN number to 55019. After sending the message, you will receive a confirmation message.

4. Buy JAMB E-pin
After successfully obtaining your profile code, another step you need to take is to purchase your JAMB E-pin.

The E-pins can be obtained from any accredited agents like commercial banks. You can also purchase the pins online directly from JAMB at www.JAMB.org.ng/eFacility/CandPay/InitPay .

You will be required to pay a sum of three thousand and five hundred naira only (N3,500), to get this pin. This pin will be required to give you access to your JAMB registration 2021 form portal.

5. Go to Any Accredited JAMB CBT Center
JAMB released the list of accredited CBT centres recently. I have compiled the list and made it available for you in PDF. You can download and go through them to decide the most convenient one for you. Although, In my time, it was Cybercafes. Am sorry, you never enjoyed that experience. It is not my fault anyway. Right now, you can only register JAMB in approved CBT centres.

6. Go for Biometric (10 fingers biometric):
The biometric registration will also be done at the accredited CBT center. Below are the biometrics to be taken;

Fingerprint capturing (10 fingers captured)
Your O-level or A-level result will be submitted.
You can use awaiting result.
You can use two sittings. I.e, one awaiting and one complete result or two complete results.

7. Collect Your JAMB E-Slip:
After successfully completed your biometric capturing, you would be given a slip containing all your biometric details submitted durring the whole registration process, your name, date of birth, phone number, email address, course of study, institution chosen and others.

It is imperative to note that this slip will not contain the date and center of examination yet unless announced by JAMB board for reprinting of slip which is usually done almost two weeks before the examination date.
