(a) y=k+c/(x^2)

(b) y=2.125

Step-by-step explanation:

(b) 11=k+c.....1

5=k+c/4.....2

using elimination method;

-3k=9

k=-3

substitute, k=-3, into equation 1

c-3=11

c=14

therefore; y=c/(x^2) -3

y=14/(16) -3

y=2.125
