Y=12.5 sin (240πt - 0.50π)
Where the symbols have their usual meanings, y and x are in metres and t in seconds.
Calculate the :
1). Frequency
2). Wavelength
3). Speed?

Y=12.5sin(240π-0.5π)
Relating formular Y=Asin(we - 2πx/lamder)
W=240π
2πf=240π
F= 240π/2π
F =120hz
  • azeez: I think equation should be Y= 12.5sin(240π-0.5x/lamder)
    Therefore 0.5x= 2πx/lamder
    Lander=wave length=2πx/0.5x
    =4πm
    Speed=f× lamder
    = 120×4π
    =480π m/s
