Mass number = proton + neutron
= 17 + 18 = 35

Mass number = proton number+neutron number=17+18=35

The answer is 17 because when u add ur protons plus the neutrons I. e 17+18=35
Chlorine has 35 as is relative mass number then according to the periodic table 35Cl also have 17 as is atomic number.

Mass number (A)= proton + neutron
