An iron tyre of diameter 50cm at 15C is to be shrunk on to a wheel of diameter 50.35cm. To what temperature must the type be heated so that it will slip over the wheel with a radial gap of 0.5mm? (co-efficient of linear expansion of iron is 0.0000121C)
Note: ans is 765.9C.
