The force applied on the string= 1 x 10=10N
force constant k =force/extension
extension=1.2cm = 0.012m
k=10/0.012=833.33N/m

m= 1kg
e= 1.2cm= 0.012m
g= 10m/s²

K= F/e

F= mg= (1)(10)= 10N

K= 10/(0.012)
= 10 × 1000/12
= 833.33
= 8.3333 × 10²N/m
