PLEASE SLOVE:A copper rod is 2m long at 20oC and an iron rod is 0.5mm longer at the same temperature. Determine the temperature at which the two metals have the same length. Linear expansivity of copper = 1.7 x 10-5k-1, linear expansivity of iron = 1.25 x 10-5k-1.
(Hint: find and equate the new length of both metals)?
