1. An electric bell takes a current of 0.2A from a battery of two cells...

1. An electric bell takes a current of 0.2A from a battery of two cells connected in series. Each cell has an e.m.f of 1.5V and an internal resistance of 1Ω.
i. Calculate the effective resistance of the bell *
ii. What current would the bell take if the cells were arranged in parallel?

2. A cell can supply current of 1.2A and 0.4A through a 4Ω and 1Ω resistors respectively. Calculate the internal resistance of the cell?
