Please guys, help me with the answers (and if possible, your workings) to the following questions:
1. A ray of light falls unto one face of a 60° glass prism. Find the angle at which it strikes the second face. (Take Refractive index=1.5)
2. The refractive index of diamond is 2.42. What is the critical angle of light passing from diamond to air?
3. A ray of light is incident at an angle of 60° to a side of an equilateral prism of a refractive index 1.5. Calculate the angle of deviation, if the ray on passing through the prism emerges towards the base.?
