Yes KOH is a liquid soap.

Potassium hydroxide is a type of lye specifically used to make LIQUID SOAP.It is the chemical that induces saponification of the fats and oils to create liquid soap.

  • Vek Tor: Soapy detergents: are made from fats or oil & include: bath soap, laundry soap and liquid soap
Soapless detergents include washing powder, dish-washing liquid, shampoo,etc....

    Potassium hydroxide(KOH) are synthetic detergents..
    Sythetic detergents are used as:
    1. laundry detergents
    2. Dish-washing liquids
    3. Hair & car shampoo

Therefore, KOH is a soapless detergent
